TERMS & CONDITIONS:
These terms apply to the quote provided by She Can Do It Handy Services (“Contractor”) and are incorporated into the approved scope of work.
1. SCOPE OF WORK
The price provided covers only the labor, services and materials specifically described in the quote. Work not specifically listed is not included.
2. CUSTOMER APPROVAL
Approval of the quote authorizes She Can Do It Handy Services to perform the work described and confirms the Customer's acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
3. ADDITIONAL WORK & CHANGES
Conditions discovered after work begins may require additional labor, materials or services. This may include hidden damage, deterioration, improper previous repairs, inaccessible components or other conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began.
Any significant additional work or additional charges will be discussed with the Customer before proceeding. Customer approval by text message, email, electronic acceptance or signed change order constitutes authorization for the additional work and associated charges.
4. MATERIALS
Material costs listed on an quote are based on information and pricing available when the quote is prepared and may change before purchase.
Special-order, custom-cut or nonreturnable materials may require advance payment and may not be refundable after purchase.
5. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MATERIALS & PRODUCTS
She Can Do It Handy Services is not responsible for defects, missing components, incompatibility, premature failure or manufacturer-related problems involving Customer-supplied products or materials.
Additional labor required because a Customer-supplied product is defective, incomplete, incompatible or incorrectly sized may result in additional charges.
6. EXISTING & HIDDEN CONDITIONS
Reasonable care will be taken while performing all work. She Can Do It Handy Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed defects, deterioration, improper previous installations or conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work began.
If an unexpected condition is discovered, work may be paused so the Customer can be informed and any necessary additional work can be approved.
7. ACCESS & WORK AREA
The Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the work area and, when necessary, access to electricity, water and other utilities required to complete the approved work.
The Customer is responsible for securing pets and removing fragile, valuable or obstructing items from the immediate work area unless other arrangements have been made.
8. WORK REQUIRING A LICENSE OR PERMIT
She Can Do It Handy Services does not perform work requiring a professional license or permit unless appropriately authorized to do so.
If conditions are discovered that require a licensed electrician, plumber, HVAC professional or other licensed trade, work on that portion of the project may be stopped and the Customer will be advised.
9. PAYMENT
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless different payment terms are stated on the quote.
Projects requiring substantial or special-order materials may require a deposit or advance payment for those materials.
Additional work approved by the Customer will be added to the final invoice.
10. SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
Scheduled appointment times are reserved specifically for the Customer. Customers are asked to provide reasonable notice when rescheduling or cancelling an appointment.
Materials already purchased, special-order items and other nonrecoverable expenses incurred specifically for the Customer remain the Customer's responsibility when applicable.
11. WORKMANSHIP
She Can Do It Handy Services will perform the approved work with reasonable care and workmanship.
Any concern regarding workmanship should be reported as soon as reasonably possible so the work can be inspected and, when appropriate, corrected.
Manufacturer warranties on products and materials are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are separate from workmanship.
12. COMPLETION
Work will be considered complete when the services described in the approved scope have been substantially performed.
Minor items outside the approved scope, additional improvements requested after completion or unrelated existing conditions are not considered incomplete work.
13. PHOTOS & VIDEO
Photos may be taken before, during and after work for project documentation. Photos or video identifying the Customer, address, personal information or other identifying details will not be publicly used without appropriate permission.
